France ends partnership with Palantir and invests 655 million euros in artificial intelligence

Paris – 16.06.2026: The Prime Minister of France Sébastien Lecornu announced today that the French government is ending its cooperation with the American technology company Palantir. Instead, 655 million euros will be allocated to the development of artificial intelligence (AI). Lecornu emphasized that France is not ready to depend on foreign companies in sensitive digital areas and will consistently develop digital sovereignty.
