Finland: 27-year-old man charged with sexual abuse of 361 children

Helsinki – June 3, 2026: A 27-year-old man in Finland has been charged with sexually abusing 361 children aged 9 to 15 via social media from 2019 to 2022 and distributing child pornography materials. During the search in 2022, thousands of videos and photos of children were found on the defendant’s mobile phone. The man contacted children through the Snapchat platform, requesting photos and videos of them wearing little or no clothing and demanding sexual acts. He admits to some of the acts.
