Saluzzo – June 7, 2026: Demi Vollering won the 2026 Giro d’Italia Donne on June 7, achieving her first overall victory in this prestigious race. The 29-year-old Dutch rider defeated her compatriot Anna van der Breggen, who had held the overall lead until then, in the 9th and final stage.

Riding for the FDJ United–Suez team, Vollering trailed the overall leader Van der Breggen by 49 seconds at the start of the final stage.
