Paris – 13.06.2026: In the center of Paris, at the renowned Jeu de Paume museum, the highly anticipated exhibition titled “Fragile Beauty” will open on June 12, 2026. This collection, comprising over 7,000 works, is considered one of the largest and most important private photography collections in the world.
The exhibition, initially introduced at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London from May 2024 to January 2025, has been specially designed for the Jeu de Paume space. It is divided into five thematic sections, focusing on the core aspects of the human experience: Desire, Fashion, Celebrity, Documentary, and the Search for Identity. Among the photographers exhibited are big names such as Robert Mapplethorpe, Diane Arbus, Irving Penn, Ai Weiwei, and Nan Goldin. Nan Goldin is notably presented through a spectacular installation featuring 149 photographs from her “Thanksgiving” collection.
