The exhibition, originally shown at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London from May 2024 to January 2025, was specially designed for the spaces of the Jeu de Paume. Among the photographers presented are prominent names such as Robert Mapplethorpe, Diane Arbus, Irving Penn, Ai Weiwei, and Nan Goldin. The latter is represented with a monumental installation of 149 photographs from her “Thanksgiving” series.
