Paris – 23.06.2026: On June 23, 2026, Marc Bloch, one of the most important French historians of the 20th century and an active resistance fighter during the Second World War, was officially inducted into the Pantheon. Marc Bloch was born in 1886 and is considered co-founder of the Annales School, a revolutionary historiographical movement that transformed traditional historiography.
