Magdeburg – 26.06.2026: The Magdeburg Regional Court has sentenced 51-year-old Taleb al-Abdulmohsen to life imprisonment for six counts of murder. In addition, the court determined the special severity of guilt, which virtually excludes early release.On December 20, 2024, al-Abdulmohsen drove a rental car with over 340 horsepower into the busy Christmas market in Magdeburg. Six people were killed, including a nine-year-old boy and five women aged between 45 and 75.
