Large-scale fire brigade deployment in the Loire: More than 250 firefighters deployed to combat a forest fire

Farmers also took part in the firefighting effort, using tractors and water tanks to assist. The joint efforts of firefighters and farmers played a crucial role in bringing the fires under control and preventing the damage from spreading.

The village of Saint-Just-la-Pendue recently completed a new fire station after investing €1.4 million. This modern facility served as a central hub for the firefighting operation and once again demonstrated the importance of investment in local fire infrastructure.

Despite the efforts of emergency personnel and support from local residents, the fires were not completely extinguished. Firefighters continue to suppress remaining hotspots and are doing everything possible to prevent further spread. Authorities said they will closely monitor the situation and deploy additional resources if necessary.
