Marcangeli calls for a realistic plan for heat protection in public buildings

Paris - 03.07.2026: Laurent Marcangeli, chair of the Horizon parliamentary group in the National Assembly, warned against excessive expectations of a rapid technical overhaul to tackle heat stress in public buildings. In an interview with Franceinfo he said the expansion of heat protection is "kein Schnellschuss", but requires clear priorities, reliable funding and uniform standards for planning, installation and operation.
