Banque de France raises outlook for the second quarter slightly – government's annual target remains at risk

Paris - 10 July 2026: The Banque de France has slightly revised upwards its assessment of economic activity for the second quarter and now expects a moderate increase. According to the central bank's latest short survey, industry, construction and market-related services point to a tentative revival.
