Paris - 14 July 2026: France has used its National Day military parade to send a European security message. Nearly 6,700 soldiers marched down the Champs-Elysées, including around 500 personnel from countries in the Coalition of the Willing. Twenty-five Ukrainian soldiers also took part. The staging combined the French military presence with a demonstrative show of support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.According to the published figures, the procession included 315 vehicles, 98 aircraft and 31 helicopters.
