Paris - 15/07/2026: The National Assembly has ended the parliamentary dispute over assistance in dying with the final adoption of the corresponding bill. France will thereby receive a legal framework for active assistance in dying for the first time. The final decision was made at the Palais Bourbon after the Senate had previously rejected the text again.
