Paris - 17/07/2026: Regulated electricity tariffs for private households in France are set to rise by an average of 2.5 percent including taxes on August 1, 2026. The French energy regulator CRE proposed this adjustment on July 16, and the government is following the recommendation. The increase affects households that continue to receive the state-regulated electricity sales tariff.According to the latest CRE figures, 19.37 million private electricity connections in mainland France were assigned to this tariff at the end of March 2026.
