Electricity tariffs in France to rise by an average of 2.5 percent on August 1

Paris - 17/07/2026: Regulated electricity tariffs for private households in France are set to rise by an average of 2.5 percent including taxes on August 1, 2026. The French energy regulator CRE proposed this adjustment on July 16, and the government is following the recommendation.
