Dolomieu - 17 July 2026: A 38-year-old man died in a workshop fire during the night into Friday in Dolomieu, in the north of the Isere department. According to consistent reports, the building was struck by lightning at around 11 p.m. during a severe thunderstorm. The workshop subsequently caught fire.
