A man has been arrested in Marne after allegedly using the visual identity of the Gendarmerie nationale to create and distribute sexual content. The posts are said to have been generated using artificial intelligence.
Investigators had noticed several accounts through which such content was being distributed. According to information on the case, analysis of these profiles led to a suspect. No further details were initially released about his age, place of residence or the precise circumstances of the arrest. It is also not known whether the man has since appeared before an investigating judge.
The suspicion does not concern misleading images online alone.
