Galerie d'Apollon at the Louvre reopens - but the display cases remain empty

Paris - 22 July 2026: The first visitors are once again walking beneath the magnificent ceiling of the Galerie d'Apollon at the Louvre. But the room looks different from before: no display cases, no jewelry, no Crown Jewels draw the eye.
