Etretat Secures Vulnerable Cliff Section Against Rockfalls

Etretat - 23 July 2026: The town of Etretat has secured a section of its cliffs classified as unstable. Specially trained industrial climbers worked directly on the rock face and controlled the removal of a large piece of rock. The purpose of the operation was to prevent an unpredictable collapse in an area at significant risk of rockfall.According to the report, the operation was carried out using crowbars and under special safety precautions.
