Paris transportation authority introduces three-day anti-pollution ticket due to high ozone levels

Currently, a heightened warning level remains in effect for 17 departments in the region due to heat and air pollution. A slight improvement in the situation is expected on Friday, which will lead to the gradual lifting of warnings.

Île-de-France Mobilités is working with environmental and health authorities to ensure the protection of the population while promoting environmentally conscious behavior. In the past, the transport association has taken similar measures during periods of elevated harmful values to improve air quality. The current offer is also meant to be a signal for sustainable mobility in the region.

In addition to reducing traffic emissions, it is recommended to use public green spaces and drink sufficient water to alleviate the effects of the heatwave.
