Kyiv - 30 July 2026: Ukraine says it has attacked two of Russia's largest oil refineries with long-range drones and missiles. The targets included a Lukoil facility in the Perm region, more than 1,500 kilometres from Ukrainian territory, and a refinery in Ryazan, around 400 kilometres from the border. Ukraine's security service and general staff reported fires; according to Kyiv, the facilities have a combined annual processing capacity of around 220 million barrels of oil.Russia did not confirm the attack in those terms.
