Crans-Montana – 28.05.2026: Following the tragic fire at Bar Le Constellation in Crans-Montana on the night of December 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026, which claimed 41 lives and injured 115 others, survivors and relatives have joined forces to form the association “Revi Crans-Montana.” This organization aims to provide long-term support to the victims and represent their interests collectively.
“Revi Crans-Montana” was founded by French victims but is open to all affected individuals, regardless of their nationality. The association’s vice chairman emphasized that the doors are open for additional members from various countries.
The founding of this association takes place in the context of existing support from other organizations. For example, the non-profit association “Swisshearts” was established on January 6, 2026, to provide financial aid to families of victims residing in Switzerland. “Swisshearts” focuses on direct financial assistance for families whose children died or were hospitalized in the incident.
Additionally, the French victim support organization “France Victimes” has offered its assistance. It was commissioned by the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office for collective accidents to support victims and their families. By the end of January 2026, 74 calls had been registered through the emergency number 116 006, and 22 victim support organizations were mobilized nationwide to assist those affected locally.
Despite these existing aid offers, the founders of “Revi Crans-Montana” stress the necessity of an independent, collective organization tailored to the specific needs of the victims. They plan to provide long-term support that goes beyond initial aid and helps those affected cope with the physical and psychological consequences of the incident.
The association has already begun collecting donations and plans to organize various events and actions in the coming months to raise awareness about the victims’ needs and mobilize further support. Moreover, “Revi Crans-Montana” aims to collaborate closely with the responsible authorities and other aid organizations to ensure coordinated and effective assistance.
The establishment of “Revi Crans-Montana” underscores the victims’ desire to share their experiences, support one another, and collectively advocate for their rights and needs. In a time when community plays a crucial role in healing and rebuilding, this association provides a space for solidarity and collective action.
The development and activities of “Revi Crans-Montana” will be closely monitored in the coming months to ensure that the victims’ needs remain central and are adequately addressed.
