Moselle: Shelter-in-Place Order Lifted After Fire in Gandrange

Gandrange - 02.08.2026: Following a fire at an industrial waste storage facility in Gandrange, in the Moselle department, the prefecture lifted the shelter-in-place order for around 30,000 people on Sunday evening. Due to heavy smoke, residents of the affected localities had previously been asked to remain in their homes.
