Paris - 04/08/2026: France's vegetable farms are reporting significant losses in lettuce cultivation following several periods of heat and persistent drought. According to a report by Franceinfo, entire harvest batches are being lost because plants grow too quickly in high temperatures, lose quality or dry out in the fields.
