Israeli Army Orders Evacuation of Seven Villages in South Lebanon

Beirut – 30.05.2026: The Israeli army called on the residents of seven villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately on May 27, 2026. This measure is taken as part of continued military operations against the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. The affected villages are Ansariyeh, Kharayeb, Chabriha, Sarafand, Aadloun, Baisariyeh, and Houmine El Faouqa. The residents were ordered to seek safety north of the Zahrani River.

This evacuation order follows the crossing of the Litani River by Israeli troops, who are moving approximately 30 kilometers north of the border with Lebanon. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed this attack and declared that the Israeli army is acting “with full force” against Hezbollah.

Israeli military activities have increased over the past days, with airstrikes on more than 30 locations in southern Lebanon, including near the city of Tyre. These attacks target facilities of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least 11 people have been killed in these attacks, including an ambulance nurse and a Syrian citizen.
