Parliamentary assistants affair: RN spokesperson Julien Odoul files an appeal to the Court of Cassation

Paris - 07.07.2026: The deputy and spokesperson of the Rassemblement National (RN), Julien Odoul, on Tuesday filed an appeal with the Cour de cassation against the recent appellate ruling in the parliamentary assistants affair. The Cour d'appel de Paris had found him guilty of receiving stolen goods in connection with the embezzlement of public funds. Odoul disputes the legal assessment and wants the application of substantive law as well as procedural issues to be reviewed.
