Athanor Trial: 30 and 25 Years in Prison for the Alleged Masterminds

Paris - 17.07.2026: An exceptionally complex criminal trial came to an end at the Paris courthouse on Friday. The two men accused of being central figures in the Athanor group, Daniel Beaulieu and Frédéric Vaglio, were sentenced to 30 and 25 years in prison respectively. The specially constituted criminal court acquitted five other defendants.Twenty-two men and women had been standing trial before the Paris criminal court since March 30.
