Bordeaux Announces Benefit Concert for Those Affected by Summer Wildfires

Bordeaux – 04.08.2026: A benefit concert for people affected by the severe summer wildfires has been announced in Bordeaux for August 27. According to Franceinfo, Renaud, Zazie and Pascal Obispo are expected to perform. The proceeds are intended for people affected by the fires in the Var and Gironde. A benefit concert featuring artists known nationwide can raise additional funds and keep support needs visible once the acute phase of emergency operations has disappeared from the headlines.

Renaud and Zazie have been among the best-known voices in French pop music for decades. Pascal Obispo also has ties to southwestern France: he was born in Bergerac and spent part of his youth in the Bordeaux area. It was initially not announced whether additional artists would join them.
