Carambar again prints prevention notices about fire risks on packaging

Paris – 08.07.2026: Carambar continues its cooperation with the Fédération nationale des sapeurs-pompiers de France (FNSPF) and combines humor with information: on selected bars and pouches, short, easy-to-understand notices about preventing household fires appear alongside the classic jokes. The special edition is recognizable by the iconic colors – pink for caramel, green for fruit variants – and is intended to reach as many consumers as possible in everyday life.

According to the partners involved, the compact messages target common risk factors such as open flames, overheated cooking surfaces, multi-socket adapters and the correct behavior in an emergency. Wording and pictograms were coordinated with the FNSPF to ensure a clear, low-threshold approach. The notices are not meant to replace official guidelines but to reinforce basic reflexes – for example keeping escape routes clear, checking smoke detectors and placing emergency calls correctly.

Complementing this, Carambar is launching a prize draw: some packs contain items marked as instant wins. In addition, limited “Carahéros” kits and fan merchandise will be raffled; a meeting with firefighters is planned as a special prize. The manufacturers emphasize that recipes and product sizes remain unchanged and that this is a time-limited packaging campaign. Availability may vary by region and retailer.

The collaboration between the company and the FNSPF has already been implemented several times in recent years. According to the fire service, presence on everyday products significantly increases the reach of prevention messages and supports activities at regional information tours and open days. Partners also use the content at trade fairs and school events to raise awareness among families and children about simple protective measures.

The initiative is assessed differently. Supporters see it as an example of Corporate Social Responsibility that generates additional attention for fire safety with little effort and gives visibility to voluntary engagement. Skeptical voices point out that fire service structures and equipment must above all be secured through public funding and reliable duty rosters. Both sides, however, emphasize that prevention can make an important contribution as a complement to state measures.

On the corporate side, the campaign is supported through brand channels, social media and retailer communications. Terms and conditions for the prize draw and participation are available online for customers; according to the company, information on duration and regional availability is also updated there on an ongoing basis.
