Delfraissy Praises Cautious Approach to the Right to Assisted Dying

Paris - 16 July 2026: The president of the French National Ethics Committee, Jean-François Delfraissy, has described the assisted dying bill finally passed by Parliament as a cautious attempt to respond to citizens' questions. The issue has neither a clear right answer nor a clear wrong answer, the physician said.
