Finland: 27-year-old man accused of sexually abusing 361 children

Helsinki – 03/06/2026: A 27-year-old man was charged in Finland with sexually abusing 361 children aged between 9 and 15 via social media and distributing child pornography material. The offences took place between 2019 and 2022. During a raid in 2022, security authorities found thousands of videos and images of children on the accused’s mobile phone. The man contacted the children through the Snapchat platform, asked them to send photos or videos with little or no clothing, and demanded sexual acts. He partially admitted the allegations.
