Finland: 27-year-old man accused of sexual abuse of 361 children

Helsinki – 03.06.2026: A 27-year-old man has been accused in Finland of sexually abusing 361 children between the ages of 9 and 15 via social media and of distributing child pornography. The crimes took place between 2019 and 2022. During a search in 2022, security authorities found thousands of videos and images of children on the defendant’s mobile phone. The man contacted children through the Snapchat platform, asked them to send photos or videos with little or no clothing, and requested sexual acts. He partially admitted to the facts.
