Paris – 16.06.2026: French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced today that France is ending its partnership with the US data analytics company Palantir. Additionally, the country will invest 655 million euros in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to strengthen national sovereignty in the digital sector.
Lecornu explained that the French government aims for “true autonomy” in the field of AI and does not want to be dependent on foreign partners who could control access to AI technologies.
