Major Fire in Fontainebleau: Around 800 Hectares of Forest Affected

Noisy-sur-École - 13 July 2026: A large-scale forest fire swept through the western part of the Fontainebleau Forest in Seine-et-Marne during the night into Monday. According to the fire service, around 800 hectares had been affected by the flames shortly after midnight. The fire was still considered out of control in the morning.
