Muscat - 05 August 2026: According to regional representatives, Iran and Oman have made progress toward an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Foreign Ministry confirmed talks on Tuesday but gave neither a binding timetable nor details of a possible arrangement.
