After a day full of impressions and experiences, it is time to make the journey back to Nice. The M2205 leads us back down to the valley, where the landscape slowly becomes more gentle and the mountains give way to wide plains. But before we finally leave the Southern Alps, one last highlight awaits us: La Bollène-Vésubie, a small village perched like an eagle’s nest above the valley. From here, there is a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the road that winds down the valley in hairpin bends.
A stop at the viewpoint on the edge of the village is a must – here, a panorama is offered that impresses deeply in memory. The gaze wanders over the wide valley as the setting sun bathes the peaks in a warm, golden light. It is the perfect conclusion to an eventful day.
