Crans-Montana – 28.05.2026: After the tragic fire at the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana on the night of December 31, 2025 to January 1, 2026, which claimed 41 lives and injured 115 others, survivors and their relatives formed the association “Revi Crans-Montana”. This organization aims to provide sustained support to the victims and to represent their interests collectively.
“Revi Crans-Montana” was created by French victims, but it is open to all concerned people, regardless of their nationality. The association’s vice-president emphasized that the doors remain open to other members coming from different countries.
The creation of this association comes in a context where other support already exists. For example, the non-profit association “Swisshearts” was founded on January 6, 2026 to provide financial assistance to the families of victims residing in Switzerland. “Swisshearts” focuses on direct financial support for families whose children died or were hospitalized as a result of the event.
In addition, the French victim support organization “France Victimes” has offered its assistance. It was mandated by the judicial police unit of the Paris prosecutor in charge of mass accidents to accompany the victims and their families. Up to the end of January 2026, 74 calls were recorded via the emergency number 116 006, and 22 victim support associations were mobilized across the country to assist those concerned on site.
Despite these existing aids, the founders of “Revi Crans-Montana” insist on the need for an independent and collective organization that addresses the specific needs of the victims. They plan to offer long-term support, going beyond initial aid, to help those affected manage the physical and psychological consequences of the incident.
