Lorient - 31 July 2026: The 55th edition of the Festival Interceltique begins in the Breton port city of Lorient this Friday. Until 9 August, the city will become a stage for music, dance and parades from Brittany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Galicia and other regions shaped by Celtic culture. The guest of honour in 2026 is Cornwall, the peninsula in south-west England linked to the Celtic world through its language, history and maritime culture.The festival deliberately focuses on exchanges between inherited forms and new modes of production.
