Photos of Emmanuel Macron’s wild party with Yannick Noah in Cameroon

Yannick Noah is not only popular in France as a former tennis champion and singer, but also as a traditional chief in Cameroon, where he was visited on Tuesday, July 26th, by President Emmanuel Macron to promote the “dialogue” between Europeans and Africans.

After his meeting with the Cameroonian President Paul Biya, Emmanuel Macron traveled to Etoudi, the “Noah village,” to meet the singer and former tennis champion Yannick Noah.

The visit began ceremoniously, and Emmanuel Macron even visited the Noah family grave, where Yannick’s grandfather and his father rest. Afterwards, the president met with young Cameroonians and French people who reported on their joint work for better relations between Paris and Yaoundé.

In the evening, the reception ended with a concert by young Cameroonian musicians and even the host Yannick Noah took the microphone. He sang his well-known hits ‘Saga Africa’, ‘Métisse’ and ‘Back to Africa’…
