SNCF advises against travel to Gironde and Landes due to wildfires

Bordeaux - 25/07/2026: Due to severe wildfires in southwestern France, the state railway SNCF recommends postponing non-essential travel to the departments of Gironde and Landes this weekend. According to the Ministry of Transport, passengers with tickets for the affected areas can cancel their tickets free of charge or rebook them for another date.The recommendation is intended to reduce traffic in the operational areas.
