One dead and four injured after shootings in Carcassonne

For residents of the Fleming district, the incident above all represents an abrupt interruption of everyday life. Where people return home at night, close their windows and wait for the following morning, barriers, emergency vehicles and investigations suddenly mark a place where the sense of security is lost. Investigators will now have to assess witness statements, collect evidence and reconstruct possible escape routes.
