Change is in the air at Nachrichten.fr. In the coming days, our two offerings Nachrichten.fr and France Premium will be gradually merged. What initially sounds like a technical adjustment means above all one thing for our readers: more content, more service, and more benefits all from one source.
For many years, Nachrichten.fr has been informing German-speaking people about life, politics, society, and culture in France. At the same time, France Premium has established itself as an exclusive section for in-depth content, guides, special reports, and additional services in a total of 11 languages. Both offerings pursue the same goal: to explain France understandably, competently, and practically.
The merger is therefore the logical next step.
For our subscribers, a much clearer platform will emerge going forward. Instead of having to switch between different areas, they will find all content in one central place. News, background reports, analyses, travel information, service offerings, and exclusive premium content will now be even more closely linked.
Our existing subscribers will benefit especially. Many contents that previously were not part of our range of services are now available within the framework of existing subscriptions. At the same time, we are creating the technical prerequisites to develop new offerings faster. From now on, you will be offered, among other things, additional themed dossiers, digital special publications, exclusive France guides, new AI-supported service offerings, as well as expanded opportunities for direct interaction with our editorial team.
This step is also of great importance for the future of Nachrichten.fr. The media world is changing rapidly. Readers today expect not only current news but also orientation, context, and concrete assistance for their daily lives. This is precisely what we want to focus on even more. The pooling of our resources enables us to further expand our journalistic work while simultaneously developing innovative new formats.
Importantly, our core values remain unchanged. Nachrichten.fr will continue to work independently, with journalistic care, and close to the interests of its readers. The merger with France Premium does not signify a departure from our previous path but its consistent further development.
We see this restructuring as an investment in the future of our community. Our goal is to further expand our status as the leading German-language information platform about France and to offer our subscribers even greater added value. In addition to the extensive further service offerings, our articles are now also available in a total of 11 languages to an international audience.
We thank all our readers for their loyalty and support. The next few days will be exciting – and we look forward to starting this new chapter together with you. Because in the end, there is a simple message: More France. More Service. More Benefits. On One Shared Platform.
